Chris Clark Retires at age 87 (Channel 5 news Anchor)

Down in Nashville, Tennessee; for more than 35 years, Chris was the face of NewsChannel 5. He retired in 2007. He was one one of the must rebutable and respected news anchor's out there.

As a boy growing up in Atlanta, Chris Clark's father encouraged him to become a TV repairman. as his family had been a line of handy men. At least it got him going in the right direction. Last May, Chris left NewsChannel 5 as the longest-serving TV anchor in Nashville. And he ironically never fixed a single television.

By the time he retired in the spring of '07, Chris Clark had not just made a name for himself in Nashville. He'd left a legacy.

Since his retirement, Chris said he's been traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. Beginning next fall, he'll take on a new role as a professor.
Chris will join MTSU's journalism program and teach a class so he can share some of his wisdom with future reporters.
As he leaves channel 5 news, his wisdom will live on for a long time to come.

Going Through Puberty... at 12?

Times have changed in the world of Biology. In terms of Pubirity, it is not being set back but set early. way back when in the 1940's men and women would go through puberty till 17. Then 1970's they woulde reced to 15. But now in day people are going through puberty as early as 12 years of age.

Im not sure if this is something to get excited about or worried. One should never mess with the Body's natural functions. Yet the question is what is causig this severe change?

Some may say its evolution. Well that is wrong! It is all the Hermones and their improving power in our food. What iot use to take a farmer to grow a chicken in 4 months can now be grown in 3 weeks.

Pretty Nasty stuff. So the next generation is going to go through puberty at 5?

The Gulf Oil Spill and the Long-Term Recovery

They may finally "kill" the oil well this week, but there’s are people arguing about its strategy for long-term cleanup. Has the Gulf been a dumping ground for American industry?

It's also kind of sad for the Gulf residents as now they have to cope with two major disasters in five years. I don't know but i would be pretty devasted. Just put yourself in theis shoes. What thoughts would reside in your head?

I would be thinking things such as: Stupid Oil companies, it is their fault my land is ruined, What is the goverment doing to Help?!, Why me? and methods to clean it up, try to help the effected whild life, etc.

I think we should help support them, rather than us playing hero at some other countries. We need to help out here before other places. They say change starts within, how are we going to go off helping other places when we can't help ourselves?

Arizona, the Federal Courts and Illegal Imigration

A federal court ruling has meant the tougher provisions of Arizona’s new immigration law will not take place today. I have heard about the law and the impact on Arizona’s economy as demonstrators are being arrested in Phoenix.

This Arizona Law, I can not to relate to it as none other than Racism and Discrimination! Immigrants have it hard enough as it is, without some Cops sniffing up ther butt. It is sad how we got to this point where we have to Cruely and unjutifiably segregat immigrants. Who are we to judge who stays or not? Was this country not built on Immigration? The pilgrims where from Europe. they just beat the Natives out of THERE land. It's time for change. It seem's like we're back in the 60's

It is shown here that an illegal immigrant was processed by Sheriff's Deputies working for Maricopa County sheriff Joe Arpaio, after an operational sweep in Phoenix on July 29, 2010.

Scareware and Bill Cosby's Death Rumor

"A false rumor that Bill Cosby, 72, was found dead by his wife in his chair, circulated on the internet over the weekend. The incident sent a large number of users searching for additional information on the Web, which in turn made it appealing for cyber-criminals to exploit" (SOFTPEDIA)

The objective is bascially that online predators get you to download fake antivirus software, also known as scareware. then once that nonsense installed it continues to display
alerts about fake infections advising the owner to acquire a license in order to remove the fake malware out of their computer.

Bill Cosby himself said
on his official website. "As you well know, a dead person cannot rebuttal. Therefore, I am rebuttaling to tell you that when I heard the news I immediately began rebuttaling and wentinto denial. My wife has just informed me that there is no such word as rebuttaling, she says the word is rebutting. But I don't care, because I'm alive!"

Well my boy Cosby aint dead with the dying, and the heart attack, and the pudding pops and the a-ha-ha-ha. Stay strong Cosby!

Los Aztecas Cartel, Straight out of Mexico

"Mexico City - The dreaded Los Aztecas gang demonstrated this week that it can operate even within prison walls. The gang was responsible for the deaths of 20 inmates in a prison in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, a city that has become a bloody battleground for powerful drug cartels that fight each other and the authorities" (NPR News)

The gang seemingly assaulted security guards and got ther weapons and cells keys. they they went to murder rival gang members at their cells.

It's over now, we already achieved our goal,' the prisoner said. The gang members then handed over their weapons and returned to their cells.

Today, Los Aztecas also operates inside prisons in Mexico and the United States, where they control the sale of drugs and prostitution. Most of the original members came from the southern El Paso neighborhood of Segundo Barrio. . It has created alliances with drug cartels and is linked to the Cartel de Juarez, for which Los Aztecas 'freelances' - selling drugs and as hired hitmen.

This gang is different from many other gangs because they relate more with their ancestors. they believe in they are like the old Mayan warriors, as they sometimes where the big tribal hats. and get tattoos symbolizing ancient Aztecs.

So what i am wondering is, their are other gangs rather than la Mara and the 18's? These guys even seem bigger and badder. Well besides the point the govt. needs to learn how to control this before it gets to out of hand. we have an Army.. they are just a Gang, in prison mind you!
its not even realistic to say we can't control it.

Grow a pair and handle your business!

Quantum Entanglement

it may sound like an awful sci-fi romance flick, but it's actually a phenomenon that physicists say may someday lead to the ability to teleport an object all the way across the galaxy instantly." (Baughman)

Man I've always wanted to be able to teleport. I'd be at my Family's house, then my wife ain't there to cook. I would just then teleport to my Moms house. I'd be like "Mama whip me up some basgetti, or Lomo Saltado!"

Nevertheless, "In this case objects do not disappear then reappear somewhere else. Rather, it "entangles" two different atoms so that one atom inherits the properties of another.

Entanglement isn't a new idea, some scientists say. They believe Einstein himself had brushed over the idea.

Mirrors and lenses direct lasers at atoms to catalyze entanglement.

The work is being tested at places like the Joint Quantum Institute at the University of Maryland. Although the problem is that if one is teleported from would side of the room to the other they would have to be destroyed and replicated. So would it not in fact just be like cloning?

This story was reported by NPR's Brent Baughman.
